Psychotherapy
Our quality of life significantly improves as we rediscover and strengthen the connection to the deeper identity or essence that lies beyond our immediate self-understanding and outer personality. It's about finding meaning within ourselves and in life.
At times, we feel impacted by "life," and many carry an internal imbalance for far too long before addressing the causes of restlessness, imbalance, or sadness/depressive states among other themes.
A lasting and profound effect of psychotherapy occurs when we learn to break the identification with the contradictory and ever-changing ideas about ourselves. When we identify with our "essence," we experience authenticity in our expression, resting more in ourselves.
The EFT model offers a specific therapy for individuals, EFIT (Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy) which is based on attachment and the way your early experiences have shaped your patterns and reactions. Together, we unpack your experiences, and this awareness will provide better insight into who you are. Gradually, you will feel a positive change as you understand the impact of your reactions and thoughts on your inner life.
Another approach is the family constellation in which we look at our original system and narrative.
Worth knowing:
It is a highly personal process that starts with you and your potentials. There is no specific method or basis in certain theories; instead, there is constant follow-up on your development and awareness.
You must want and desire a change in your life. Without a significant willingness to be honest and openly present in therapy, change cannot happen. The therapist's task is to help you create space where change can occur, but the work is something you must do yourself. The therapist is there for your journey, and you are not alone.
Psychotherapy offers a safe space, a personal and very private sanctuary where you can lay out all your feelings and thoughts for reflection. Even if you have a good family and friends to talk to, it's often easier to speak to someone completely outside of your immediate circle. Someone who can assist you in finding peace in the midst of a crisis or uncertain situation.
Psychotherapy can be an option when we face challenges, crises, or downturns in all aspects of life.
Some challenges are current, such as death, dismissal, a stressful job, or illness, while others result from a difficult upbringing, neglect, and a lack of support in life. A skilled psychotherapist can be a significant help in moving forward. Let me know if you need information to how I can assist you.
